Terms & Conditions - Retreats
Please read the following Terms & Conditions for retreats carefully.
Retreats T&Cs
1.1. General
Our retreats include for you, the Client, accommodation and a significant portion of travel services. This ensures that the retreats are qualified as package holidays. This is to offer you, as the Customer, optimum protection.
1.2. Offers
1.2.1. When requesting a quotation for our retreats, we, as the Service Provider, will provide you, as the Customer, with all the mandatory pre-contractual information. You, as the Customer, can make your purchasing decision based on this information. We will also state the minimum number of people required for the trip to go ahead.
1.2.2. You, as a Customer, will receive this information in a clear and understandable manner.
1.2.3. Obvious material errors in the pre-contractual information do not bind us as Service Provider. We, as the Service Provider, may correct these errors afterwards.
1.3. Package Travel Agreement
We, as the Service Provider, will draw up this agreement in clear and understandable language. In this agreement, we, as Service Provider, will reproduce the pre-contractual information.
This agreement will come into effect when you, as the Customer, confirm the quotation. When confirming the quotation, 50% of the total amount must be paid as a deposit. The non-payment of the deposit does not affect the validity of the agreement. The other 50% has to be paid 6 weeks before the retreat starts.
1.4. Changes to the agreement
1.4.1. Transfer of Retreat
1.4.1.1. The trip can be transferred by you, the Customer, to a third party. This third party will have to meet the conditions that we, as Service Provider, set up in order to participate in the retreat.
1.4.1.2. You, as the Customer, must inform us, as the Service Provider, of this within a reasonable time (no later than 7 days before the start of the trip).
1.4.1.3. We, as the Service Provider, may charge you, as the Customer, additional costs for this. These costs may include filing fees and the cost of additional travel services (such as price for rebooking the ticket).
1.4.2. Cancellation/change of contract
1.4.2.1. Cancellation or modification by the Customer.
You, as the Customer, can cancel the agreement, for which we, as the Service Provider, can charge a cancellation fee. This cancellation fee cannot exceed the cost price of the trip. Cancellation fees as follows:
You will receive:
-
100% refund of the total fee 90 days before the start date of the retreat
-
50% refund 60 days before the start date of the retreat
-
0% refund if cancelled in the 40 days before the start of the retreat
We, as the Service Provider, must take into account the possible possibility that the place may be taken by another participant. We, as the Service Provider, will in that case deduct this surplus value.
If you, as the Customer, wish to amend the agreement, we, as the Service Provider, can charge extra costs for this. You, as the Customer, accept that the change will depend on availability and any price adjustments.
1.4.2.2. Cancellation or modification by the Service Provider
We, as the Service Provider, may cancel the agreement if the minimum number of participants has not been reached, without being liable to pay any compensation to you, as the Customer.
You, as the Client, will be notified by us, as the Service Provider, in writing. This cancellation will take place:
-
30 days prior to departure for a trip of 6 days or more
-
7 days prior to departure for trips of 2-6 days
-
48 hours before departure for trips lasting less than 2 days
We, as the Service Provider, will in this case offer an equivalent alternative to the trip or refund the amount of the trip. You, as the Customer, will always have the choice between the two options.
We, as the Service Provider, have the right to make minor changes to the agreement prior to departure. You, as the Customer, will be informed of these changes in writing.
If we, as the Service Provider, have to make substantial changes to the agreement such that the price increases by more than 8%, you, as the Customer, must inform us within 2 working days whether you, as the Customer, will accept this change. If you, as a Customer, do not do so, the agreement will be terminated automatically.
1.5. Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances
If we, as the Service Provider, are unable to perform the agreement due to unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances, we, as the Service Provider, can terminate the agreement
without having to pay any compensation to you, as the Customer. We can offer you, as a Customer, an equivalent alternative or reimburse the cost of the trip.
